Fitting neatly into the gap between the heaviest router table and an industrial sized spindle moulder this machine is ideally suited to small professional workshops.
A precision ground cast iron table, a steel base cabinet and a 2hp induction motor are the basic ingredients which make up this fantastic recently upgraded spindle moulder. The height of the spindle, which is a standard 30mm diameter, is controlled by the large hand wheel which can then be locked in position.

A simple belt change selects the correct spindle speed for the tooling. The new 4 speed version provides even more versatility;

1500rpm - Drum Sanding *
4500rpm - Moulding Hardwoods
6500rpm - Moulding Softwoods
8500rpm - Routing **

The cutter hood is cast iron with a dust outlet at the centre providing efficient extraction for this machine which can produce a high volume of dust and chips. An extractor with 1000 cubic metres an hour airflow is recommended to cope.
The two aluminium fences are adjustable to set the width of the opening, to suit the cutters being used. The outfeed fence can also be stepped out, controlled by a fine pitch thread adjuster, for operations where the complete edge of the workpiece is being removed. Fully adjustable guards are connected to a hinged plate which can quickly be lifted to allow clear access to change the tooling.
The sliding carriage consists of a cast iron table with four bearing guides running along an aluminium extrusion. The fence angle can be set accurately between 90 and 45 degrees with a useful stop to quickly return to 90 degrees again. A hold down clamp and a length stop complete the equipment.

Spindle moulder cutter block, specifically designed for rebating. Fits any moulder with a 30mm diameter spindle. The cutterblock has 2, double edged, planing knives and 4 spur cutters. The spur cutters give a clean crisp edge to the internal corner when rebating. The spurs can removed if required.

We also include a guide ring, which consists of a bearing with 30mm bore and a collar to run the work piece along. It is used for cutting rebates into curved timber, but should only be used with an appropriate ring fence fitted to the moulder.

The block is supplied in a foam lined aluminium storage case to keep it safe.

The cutting knives are double edged and replacements are supplied as a pair.

The 3 speed and 4 speed version of our W030 Spindle Moulder have a removable spindle, which can be swapped for this routing collet. Any 1/2'' shank router bits can then be used with the speed set on the highest level, 8500rpm. For anyone upgrading to a moulder from a router this could save hundreds of pounds in new tooling costs.

Only recommended for larger diameter router bits, above 50mm diameter.

Please Note; This routing collet is specifically designed for use with Charnwood W030 Spindle Moulders. It is not compatible with other similar looking machines.

W510 has a single chromed roller and is ideal for applications where a straight feed is required, such as a planer or thicknesser. The feet of the stand are welded to give extra strength and rigidity. The rear leg is hinged and folds flat so that the roller stand can be hung on the wall when not in use. A lever handle sets the height of the stand to suit your application.

The Optional bearing line has 8 independent bearings which allow travel in any direction and are excellent for large sheet handling applications. The bearing head simply fits onto the same stand giving a dual function stand which can be changed from roller to bearing in a matter of seconds with no tools required. As a useful additional feature the bearing line can be flipped over so that the stand can be used as a length stop.
