Charnwood W836 Scroll Chuck

For serious woodturners a geared scroll chuck is the only choice. This high precision 4 jaw chuck uses just one T-bar to adjust the jaws which means mounting a workpiece is very simple and you will not run out of hands.
The basic chuck has thread size M33 x 3.5 for all other thread sizes an additional insert must be purchased. For most Charnwood lathes use insert W836ID 3/4" x 16tpi.
The chuck is supplied with an Index plate marked with 24 positions.

Two additional jaw sets are available. The Large jaw set expands from 98mm to 135mm and contracts from 119mm to 82mm.
The Small jaw set expands from 22mm to 59mm and contracts from 43mm to 6mm.

This new 28 LED magnetic light is ideal for any DIY use where better lighting is required.
The flexible arm is 370mm long and is fixed onto a magnetic base that can be turned on and off allowing the LED light to be securely attached to any steel or cast iron surface
. With 28 LED lights it produces more intense light than a traditional bulb with the added advantage of emitting very little heat. The power cinsuption for LED bulbs is also a fraction of traditional type bulbs.
There is a seperate on / off switch for the LED light and it runs off a 240v 13amp socket and comes complete with a 2m cable.

Long Nose Jaws for use with W836 lathe chuck.

The shape of these long nose jaws allow for various kinds of bowls to be held securely.

Bowl reversing jaws for re-chucking bowls, once the inside has already been formed, to re-shape the outside.
For bowl diameters from 60mm up to 220mm. Two adjustable rubber grips on each jaw hold the workpiece securely.
