Fox have introduced their F36-522 10” tablesaw, positioned as a budget addition to their smaller tablesaw range. In spite of a highly affordable price, it comes with a whole host of first-class features and a mmensurately impressive cutting performance. During late 1998 (following its introduction some twelve months earlier) the Scheppach Basato 5-2 professional bandsawing machine achieved first prize for reader’s choice of best new product in the prestigious PROFITIPS Building & Renovation magazine.

Next came the Basato 3 offering cutting capacity of 306 mm x 160 mm and bringing all Scheppach Basato bandsaw features within the reach of most woodworkers. Economic belt and disc sanding – the bts900 bench top sander.

Belt and disc sanding are combined with the bts900 sander. This is the major benefit with the bts900. Belt and disc sanding in one compact unit that can be easily stored when not in use. The belt sanding option can be adjusted vertically through 90 degrees and the sanding table can be mounted for both belt and disc sanding operations. The mitre attachment can be set to any angle up to 45 degrees.

Professional grinding and honing – Tiger 2000.

Correct grinding and honing is an art in and of itself. Without training and experience, costly mistakes can be made and expensive tooling ruined. Now, all the technique you need for professional results has been ”built in“ the scheppach Tiger 2000 wet and dry grinding/honing system. Your machine is the ”professional“ – you get perfect grinding every time.

Just like old-fashioned grinders, the Tiger stone runs slowly in a water trough so that the tool never looses its temper due to overheating. With the special stone containing grains of aluminium oxide, you achieve perfect grinding results much quicker than with any other machine. The grinding stone is also ideal for HSS tools.

The leather honing wheel removes the burr and gives a perfectly polished cutting edge. It is removable to allow unhindered access to the grindstone when grinding long knives or tools. The powerful motor protected from water splashes by an enclosed housing, is made for continuous operation.

Wide range of accessories part of standard equipment. The adjustable universal support allows the various grinding attachments to be fixed with maximum safety. The universal jig (also standard equipment, same as angle guide and abrasion paste) has a horizontal and a vertical operating mode.
