Chestnut Burnishing Cream 70% Discount only on this item Ref: Burnishing Cream A very mildly abrasive cleaner which smoothes and cleans finishes, reviving the lustre of previously polished surfaces and enhancing the gloss of newly applied lacquers and polishes. Acrylic Gloss Lacquer, Friction Polish. Can also be used as a liquid sander on Cellulose Sanding Sealer before the application of wax or Friction Polish but not lacquers.For an exceptional finish first apply a coat coat of Cellulose Sanding Sealer, sand back as normal then apply a coat of Melamine Lacquer. Once dry, burnish with Burnishing Cream and follow with a coat of Friction Polish. Finally, burnish again for a wonderful high gloss. Typical uses - To improve the gloss of most of the products in the range or as a ‘liquid sander’ on Cellulose Sanding Sealer before using WoodWax 22 or Friction Polish Method of application - Cloth Drying time - Not applicable Coverage - Not applicable Compatibility - Use on Cellulose Sanding Sealer (see above), all of the lacquers in the range, Finishing Oil (once hard dry), Friction Polish. A water based lacquer which can be used either straight onto bare wood or over Chestnut Products’ Acrylic or Cellulose Sanding Sealers. The omission of the Sanding Sealer will require extra coats of lacquer to be applied. This is a quick drying and very hard wearing product. Typical uses - A gloss finish, water-based lacquer which gives a very hard-wearing finish. Method of application - Foam Brush, Brush, cloth or spray. Drying time - Within twenty minutes under normal conditions. Coverage - approx. 8-10 m² per litre. Compatibility - Can be used over Acrylic Sanding Sealer and Cellulose Sanding Sealer. Once dried, Burnishing Cream or WoodWax 22 may be used on top of this product. Tips - Thinning may be required when applying over a large area. Acrylic finishes have a tendency to ‘froth-up’ when applied; to reduce this we recommend the use of our Foam Brushes. Not suitable for exterior use. Conforms to EN71 for use on toys. Chestnut Acrylic Sanding Sealer 70% Discount only on this item (one Only) Ref: Acrylic Sanding Seal A water based sanding sealer which dries quickly and sands easily, giving a perfect basecoat for Chestnut Products’ Acrylic Lacquers, Friction Polish, WoodWax 22 or Stick Wax. (Other products should be tested for compatibility before use). Typical uses - To seal open pores of timber prior to application of lacquers, waxes or polishes. Once dry lightly sand for a smooth surface. Method of application - Foam Brush, Brush, cloth or spray. Drying time - Within twenty minutes under normal conditions. Coverage - approx. 8-10 m² per litre.
