The Jet 60 A is a 200mm wide planer with long tables ideally suited to removing any twist or bow from cut timbers that are to be accurately joined together or thicknessed. The long finely ground tables are independently adjustable and can be conveniently dropped down to adjust the planer knives. Setting the three knives into the cutting block is easy with the blade setting device supplied ensuring that all three knives are exactly set in identical locations. The planer fence tilts in the opposite manner to convention and the adjustments all have preset stops or returns so that the fence can be accurately and quickly set. The locking positions are secured in place with fast action cam lock handles giving a positive and secure fixing every time. Should the machine need to be moved around the workshop the addition of the Jet heavy duty machine base will avoid the need to pull or drag the machine around on its base. Supplied complete with HSS knives, blade setting jig, dust extraction hood and service tools.

This sturdy machine base with its two fixed and two castoring wheels is a convenient and low cost way to get your machines moving around the workshop. Once the machine is positioned the castoring front wheels can be raised with the foot pedals to allow the base to rest on two height-adjustable rubber feet. Maximum total load is 230kg. and the size limits are 280mm square up to 895mm square or 280 x 430mm up to 1295 x 483mm rectangular.
