Cutting wood with accuracy is an important part of making sure the project turns out just right. The inaccuracy of pencil marks on a board can then be compounded by the need to follow that mark precisely with the saw blade. The Precision Measuring Systems Kit is designed to take the guesswork out of cutting wood to length. This kit contains 2440mm(8') (4 x 610mm(24") sections) of anodized aluminum track that can be mounted to a shop made support wing built to the height of your mitre saw. A 13mm(1/2") self-adhesive tape is then applied to the top of the fence. Finally, slide the Quick stop and Production Stop onto the top of the track and you have a precision cutting station that eliminates the need for a tape measure and pencil. Simply place the precision lens cursor over the board length desired, press the board against the stop, and cut away! Precise, repeatable cuts could not be any easier. Kit (701400) contains: 4 x 610mm(2') pieces of Top Trak, 1 Quick stop, 1 Production Stop, 1 x 610mm(2') L-R reading self-adhesive tape, 1 x 610mm(2') R-L reading self-adhesive tape & detailed instructions. Also available extra lengths of Trak 610mm long (701401) and a mitre stop (701402) that attaches to the Trak for precise 45° mitres.

Just drill 3.2mm(1/8") holes through the back of the extrusion and secure with the included mounting screws. Top Trak can be mounted onto the top a 19mm thick fence. It features a self-aligning L-shaped mounting foot for easy installation. The T-slot accepts the head of a standard 1/4" bolt and other Kreg accessories such as the QuickStop. The top of the Trak has a recess for a 13mm(1/2") wide self-adhesive measuring tape.

Designed to support the mitred end of a board so that the sharp point of the mitre is not damaged while cutting. The attachment also allows the mitred end to be measured off of two points of contact instead of the toe of the mitre. A slot is machined into the attachment which enables it to be attached to the Production Stop or Flipstop with a simple carriage bolt. A must-have for anyone who routinely cuts mitres.

This 1/2" wide, imperial, self-adhesive measuring tape fits snugly into the indentation on the topside of the Kreg Top Trak and Heavy Duty Trak. The metallic tape is highly scuff resistant and can be trimmed to length with scissors. Be sure to choose the correct tape orientation... left-to-right reading to the right of the saw blade, right-to-left reading to the left of the saw blade.
