Leigh Super Jigs offer exceptional value. Available as 12", 18" or 24" for every woodworker & budget. Variably spaced, through & half-blind dovetails are standard. The infinitely adjustable one piece fingers are easily positioned for any joint pattern and you are always guaranteed a half pin at each edge of the joint, regardless of board width. Finger assembly is easily positioned for any joint type or board thickness using the easy to read scales at each end. Install the included cross cut fence, and the dovetail finger assembly becomes a sliding dovetail template. For fast production you can rout half-blind pin boards and tail boards at the same time! The finger assembly produces two sizes of box joints, 5/16" and 5/8". Use the spacer to position the fingers and offset the socket board and rout perfect finger joints. For fittings adjustments in increments of .002" can be made, the Super Jigs have the new Leigh E Bush which enables very precise adjustments for fit to be made. Twisting of the E Bush changes its active diameter which in turn changes the fit of joints and half-blind dovetails. Superjigs are supplied with 1/2" shank 8mm and 1/2" shank 14mm dovetail cutters, 5/16" straight cutter and a 1/2" to 8mm collet reducer. Maximum achievable depth of cut with the Superjig is 20mm.

The amazing joint making capability of Super Jigs is due in part to the revolutionary new Leigh E Bush (patent pending). Very precise adjustments for fit are made easily with the E Bush. Settings are changed using the included pin wrench and the uniquely shaped locking nutmakes tightening the E Bush a snap. Markings clearly indicate the adjustment direction necessary for the desired change. A simple twist of the E Bush changes it’s active diameter which in turn changes the fit of finger joints and half-blind dovetails.

The larger cross section (58% more mass) of 8mm shank bits makes them considerably stronger than 1/4" shank bits, resulting in smoother, faster cuts with less chatter and greater safety. Three sets are available:
7 piece set suitable for Super Jigs containing Leigh cutters 50-8, 60-8, 70-8, 75-8, 101-8, 112-8 and 128-8.
12 piece set contains all the cutters in the 7 piece set plus Leigh cutters 90,100, 150,160 and a1/2" - 8mm reduction sleeve(172-8).
16 piece set contains the cutters included in the 12 piece set plus Leigh cutters 80-8,120-8,140-8, and two 1/2"- 8mm reduction sleeves(172-8). N.B.12 and 16 piece sets include 1/2"(12.7mm) shank cutters not suitable for use with the Leigh Super jigs.

he Leigh M2 mortice and tenon attachment can be used as a half-blind dovetail jig too. Using either of the two largest dovetail bits for the D4R, 11/16" (No.90) and 13/16" (No.100) and an optional template guidebush for each bit, you can cut jumbo half-blind dovetails in timber up to 1-1/2" thick. The 11/16" No.90 dovetail bit works with the 17.1mm template guidebush to cut half-blind dovetails 1" deep and the 13/16" No.100 bit works with the 19.2mm guide bush No.720TP to cut 1-1/4" deep. These special guides must be paired with their respective bits to cut half-blind dovetails on the M2. The M2 User Guide includes instructions for both jumbo finger joints and jumbo half-blind dovetails.

The revolutionary Leigh VRS Vacuum and Router Support provides almost 100% dust and chip collection, as well as amazing full width router support. The VRS is a must for all Leigh Dovetail Jig owners. Available for all Super Jigs, D1600, D4R and all 24" D-series Jigs.

The router is positioned between the control arms attached to the vacuum chute below. The arms are adjustable to suit any size of router base. The vacuum chute glides effortlessly from side to side on nylon rollers and automatically follows the router when routing the joint or when the router is parked off to the
side. The chute is always in the perfect position to catch the chips being thrown out by the high-speed router bit action. Chips and sawdust are drawn into the vacuum chute and down through the vacuum hose. Each VRS comes complete with two adaptors to fit all popular vacuum hose
sizes from 1" to 2.1/2". The VRS can be used with a small shop vacuum or large built in system.

The VRS is a full width router support. When the workpiece has been routed on one side of the jig, the router can be effortlessly moved to the other side of the jig and parked while the workpiece is being changed. There is no need to remove the router from the jig.

As the vacuum box is always in perfect position relative to the router bit, the dust and chips are drawn into the chute and vacuum hose.

The dust chute rides beneath the router support beam. Control arms ensure accurate positioning of the chute and the size and shape of the chute ensures total waste collection regardless of bit size or joint type being routed.

The VRS will work with almost any shop vacuum or large vacuum system. Two adaptors are included with every VRS to handle hose sizes from 1" to 2.1/2".

Leigh Finger Joint Templatesr for Superjigs

• Produce nine sizes of square finger joints
• Also cuts square half-blind joints, round to square through joints and round half-blind joints

Finger joints, also called box joints, add visually striking symmetrical design to corner assemblies. Unlike dovetails, finger joints do not interlock mechanically but their enormous amount of glue surface can make them as strong as dovetails with a good adhesive. These finger joint templates produce nine sizes of square fingers from 1.6mm(1/16") 12.7mm(1/2") and can also cut square half-blind joints, they can also make beautiful round to square through joints and round half-blind joints as well. There are two models available, model F18 which attaches to Superjig 18 and model F24 which attaches to Superjig 24. Each template will cut 6 sizes of box joints in sizes. 3/32", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2".
