Together with the LS 103 Chain Mortiser, the SG 400 is the ideal attachment, e.g. for preparing large glulam workpieces for the insertion of connection pieces. The impressive mortising depth of up to 400 mm (153/4 in.) is ensured by the exact coordination of the slot attachment with the basic machine. The exact special chain guide and the cutting depth stop guarantee that the measurement is adhered to from the beginning to the end of the cut. The complete unit can of course be tilted up to 45°.
