A solid cast iron planer/thicknesser for the professional workshop. Precision ground cast iron beds and a long tilting fence, which can be positioned at any point across the table, help make this machine a joy to use. The 3 knife cutter block is powered by a heavy duty 2hp induction motor and is capable of a cut up to 5mm deep in a single pass. To gain better visibility, and access for thicknessing, both of the planing tables are hinged and swing out of the way, without using any tools.

This is the ideal machine for working on rough-sawn or twisted timber. It offers rapid conversion from planer to thicknesser to minimise downtime and has the added safety facility of a mode interlock switch, to prevent incorrect operation of planer mode when set up in thicknesser mode and vice versa.
