The Biostar 1800 has been designed and tested rigorously. It is part of the family of efficient shredders that come from the same modern manufacturing plant as the larger Biostar 3000 offering the same technological features - but in a smaller machine.

The Biostar 1800 has the same patented angled cutter feeding system with worm gear which draws into the cutter the material being cut. Thus it achieves exceptional cutting performance for which Scheppach shredders are renowned but with an encased motor, it is surprisingly quiet. Small is also “nifty”. The integrated handle gives the Biostar 1800 the greatest mobility. The collecting box is a practical accessory that makes the work easier still.

From the huge disk on which is mounted the reversible blade of special formulated cutting steel, to the indestructible outer casing - quality is reflected in every part of the machine.

Operation that is free of friction - that is the big secret of scheppach Biostar shredders. The material is immediately drawn in and it cannot go back. The result being that the work is accomplished in the quickest possible time and in the most efficient manner.

The consistent systematic processing of the material as it is fed into the machine is achieved by our patented angled feeder cutting system. A worm gear integrally mounted to the huge cutting disk draws the material in and cuts it in one simple uncomplicated action.

Branches are instantly drawn into the cutting blade. The angled spaces on the blade disk speeds up the feed rate with its pulling action. The worm feeder on the disk even promotes easy action with soft waste. Moreover, the wide, straight “in line” ejection chute allows a high flow through rate. To change a blade you need only to loosen the central locking knob and lift the funnel. The blade disk is then easily accessible.
