Correct grinding and honing requires skill – unless the efficient technique has ­already been “built in” your grinder, like with the TiGer 2500.

Only if you grind your knives and tools on a grindstone slowly running in a water trough so that the tool never loses its tem­per due to overheating, makes it possible to get a lasting sharp ­edge. The top-quality grindstone with grinding grains of aluminium oxide is part of the standard equipment of each TiGer model.

The big brother TiGer2500, too, excels with the qualities of the TiGer2000 model, so that in a few seconds, thanks to the top-class grindstone with the large diameter of 250 mm. The powerful motor being conceived for uninterrupted operation, this model is perfect for tradesmen with the daily need for grinding. The ingenious system for finding the correct grinding angle allows maintaining the same angle over many years.

Jig 55 (rough turning and hollow cutting tools) used in conjunction with Universal Jig 100 (standard equipment), it provides perfect results on oblique edges and hollow chisels.

The Universal jig 100 is perfect for straight edges, plane irons, ripping chisels and spoke shave blades. It can also be used as a grinding attachment for turning scrapers, carving scrops, cabinet scrapers and re-truing screwdrivers. In addition this jig is used in conjunction with jigs 160 and 55.

Jig 40 is the perfect attachment for axes with a blade of up to 170 mm.
