CMT Spindle Moulder Collet Chuck Chuck mounts directly into the top of a spindle with a female thread of either M14x2 or M16x2 ER20 collet is used to secure a router cutter Collets are a precise way of holding tooling used extensively in engineering Accurate and more economical system for mounting router cutters on a spindle moulderThe Collet chuck is threaded ready to mount directly into the top of a spindle with a female thread of either M14x2 or M16x2. With the chuck mounted, an ER20 collet is used to secure a router cutter, adding even further to the versatility of the spindle moulder. The ER20 collets are a precise way of holding and used extensively in engineering. The beauty of the collets is that each has a grip range of 1mm; thus a 6 to 7mm collet will hold both 6mm and 1/4" shank cutters, and the 12 to 13mm covers both 1/2" and 12mm, making for both an accurate and more economical system. Collets not included
Ref: Collets
These end mill collets have the unique ability to grip over a diameter range of 1mm without any loss of accuracy. This flexibility means that fewer collets need to be stocked, making them a more economical proposition when compared to other collet-based systems. An additional benefit is that there is no requirement for a separate imperial listing; a 1/4" end mill, for example, will fit into the 7.00mm to 6.00mm collet and the 12 to 13mm covers both 1/2" and 12mm
