The STM25 cast iron morticer follows in the Startrite tradition of solidly built, reliable machines which have formed the heart of many professional workshops for over 50 years.
The STM25 is suitable for the small professional workshop or educational environment. A heavy, robust machine which has been engineered to provide accurate performance on a daily basis in an industrial environment. Weighing in at 160kg, the STM25 offers the very best in morticers and will cope with the rigors of heavy use. The STM25 can cope with a maximum chisel capacity of up to 1” and the finely ground table and back fence provide a work base for precision morticing. The simple mechanism of the twin depth stop can be easily adjusted to achieve accurate depths of cut. Machine faced dovetail slides allow full movement of the table from front to back and left to right. The STM25 also features travel stops for repetitive work and a heavy duty, cast iron table clamp to hold the workpiece securely. Available in single or three phase with a 1hp motor, this machine is ideal for the professional user or even the dedicated enthusiast.
