obert Sorby brings this fascinating aspect of woodturning into the new millennium with the introduction of the Thread Cutting System. Cutting tools have been produced from top grade High Speed Steel in 10”, 16” and 20” thread per inch options, with a new and enhanced helix angle designed for use in timber. To compliment these excellent tools, optional items have been produced to provide a complete solution to thread cutting. A relief cutting tool and tool support rest (893H) make forming internal threads easier and Sorby’s unique Thread and Sizing Gauge takes all the guesswork out of dimensioning.
