The Hinge Jig is a portable template set designed for recessing hinges in wooden doors & frames. It is easy to use with minimal setting-up time, completing the job both accurately & quickly.

Used on-site & in joinery shops to increase productivity with excellent results. Four apertures for fire door requirements. No need for marking out in the conventional way. Quick & simple to set-up as the hinge is used as the pattern.
Clean & accurate recesses are achieved every time. Suitable for timber based doors & square butt hinges. Use with a light duty router with 1/4inch collet.
Long reach router cutter required, 12mm diameter with 70mm overall length.
Angled position slots to prevent creep.

A light duty hinge jig for routing 75mm hinge recesses in internal doors & linings.

Hard wearing template in 12mm laminate.
Two part, splits into two lengths withh dovetail joint.
One set up for door and frame. No need to adjust for repeated doors.
Three pre-set apertures 6inch down and 9inch up the middle.
For internal doors 15mm to 51mm thick with seperate (plant on) stops.
Swivel end plate for 3mm gap to head of door.
Pin park in jig body.
Includes three 10mm diameter plastic pins with tapered shoulder for tight fit, two bradawls and 16 mm guide bush. Unibase may be needed.

A routing template that allows a router to create a hinge recess on a door. Made from clear 8mm thick plastic.

Includes metal templates for 75mm and 100mm butt hinges.
Magnets in template frame to hold templates.

Cuts rounded corners which can be removed with a corner chisel or chisel.
Use on doors from 35mm to 44mm thick.
Requires 12mm diameter cutter and 30mm guide bush.
A user made batten 44mm x 34mm x 450mm is also needed.
