Fox's F22-564-250 10" x 5" 1500W portable planer/thicknesser is aimed at the small workshop where space is at a premium, and additionally where value is placed on high levels of portability. Offering a surface planing width of 254mm (10"), coupled with a thicknessing capacity of 254 x 127mm (10" x 5"), the F22-564-250 can tackle up to 3mm per pass. A block speed of 9000rpm contributes to a quality plane finish. With a table size of 920 x 262mm and a tilting aluminium fence measuring 635 x 124mm, timber can be trued or bevelled with ease.
Conversion to the thicknessing mode is straightforward, requiring just the fence assembly to be removed, the blade guard to be repositioned and the chip collection hood to be placed over the cutting block.
Height adjustment is made by a well positioned crank handle.
