Fox have introduced their F36-522 10” tablesaw, positioned as a budget addition to their smaller tablesaw range. In spite of a highly affordable price, it comes with a whole host of first-class features and a mmensurately impressive cutting performance. A pressed steel legstand provides the ideal working height, with a quick-release parallel ripguide, a sliding mitre fence and extension tables all enhancing material handling and operation versatility. Cutting heights at both 90 and 45 degrees are smoothly adjusted by a conveniently positioned dual-function crankwheel. Maximum capacities are 80mm and 55mm respectively, which are achieved through a 250mm (10”) blade at 4500rpm by a 1500W motor.

Fox’s select GOLD range of wood sawblades creates a completely new dimension to timber cutting technology.
Sourced in Germany for the ultimate in design and manufacture, the Fox GOLD redefines performance and quatitity with a catalogue of unique features. Its ‘DoubleGold’ coating consists of a titanium-teflon blend creating a ultra low friction, wear resistant blade facing. Crescent shape laser cutouts within the main blade body provide ventilation to the cutting face preventing heat buildup and distortion and, at the same time, helping to clear waste material. Laser cut expansion slots on the outside blade periphery also counter blade distortion in demanding applications and reduce noise.
The GOLD theme continues with a special emphasis on tooth geometry. The embedded TCT tooth features an ‘axle front shear’ cutting angle set in an ATB configuration. This means that the tooth slices with a clean shear cut rather than chipping, the end result being a far superior cut quality and substantially tess strain on the cutting machine. Where necessary, the blades also feature anti-kick-back limiters.
