Due to the CUprex motor the LO 65Ec router has approx 30% more power which is now 2600w which we believe is the most powerful router on the market. Digital-Electronic for reduced-voltage starting, low voltage circuit breaker (if the switch is put on the position “on” when putting the plug into the socket the electronic will avoid an unintentional starting of the motor. A restart takes only place when starting the switch again), constant speed (speed control from 10,000-22,000 1/min) as well as a brake function in a matter of seconds for more safety. More safety due to a reinforced adjustment for the exchange of the cutter, height adjustment on the guide column with fine thread and therewith an improved clamping and improved column guidance due to a longer seat of the roller bearing at the gear casing. Simplified change of the sliding surface as it is now screwed instead of glued. Four additional threaded holes in the base plate for a simplified usage of template guide systems. Router guide device for cutting housings in staircase stringsThis optional accessory from MAFELL is an ideal tool for carpenters making staircases to individual specifications. Locking devices allow it to be set for working lengths of 640 mm (253/16 in.) and widths of 60 mm (23/8 in.). The device is designed to execute the full range of recesses arising in staircase construction. The groove width can be adjusted according to the scale, while the lateral adjustment permits cutting to exact markings. The fact that the rail and machine can be moved together is beneficial if repeated changes in position are required: the machine need not be detached from the rail. The delivery specification includes two screw clamps for securing the guide rail in position; another optional accessory is an exact sliding bevel for the staircase constructor.
