840 Standard Spindle Gouges
The Robert Sorby 840 Standard Spindle Gouges. These are detailing tools that are used by wood turner during “between” centre work. Therefore the grain is running parallel to the lathe.  Spindle gouges are used by wood turners to to create profiles. These include coves and beads on spindle base projects. This could include vases, goblets, candle sticks, Santa’s etc.  Another staple tool for the woodworker.
The Gouges are available as the Standard Robert Sorby Hand tool with wooden handle. Also supplied as blade only to fit into the Robert Sorby Sovereign handle. These options are available you select the width of the blade and the handle option you require
