The SIP 01950 Floor Standing Morticer Sliding Carriage & Cabinet – 01950. This is a heavy duty cast iron morticer on a cabinet stand with a maximum chisel capacity of 25mm. The head of the morticer moves smoothly. This is because it is on a solid rack and dovetail column. Gib strips are also provided. These can be easily adjusted and therefore provide accuracy and smoothness in use. Work is also held securely in a quick lock clamp. The 01950 is fitted with a 1hp induction motor which, also provides adequate power for all applications. A rise and fall handle that adjusts the head, is also conveniently positioned to enable maximum leverage.
