The sturdy under frame is made from Scandinavian pine and with the hard Nordic birch top the bench is built to last a lifetime of normal use. A double row of 19mm (3/4") dog holes run from each of the four vice locations, giving an endless opportunity to clamp your work. There are four mounting locations for the vices allowing you to configure the vices to best suit your working preference. Both vices can be mounted on the front for heavy-duty clamping or one at either end for clamping in two positions and maximum clamping distance. The Nordic bench is equally suited to right-handed people and left-handed people. 4 steel bench dogs are supplied as standard with a plastic coating that helps protect edge tools. The bench dogs are reversible for thin work pieces. Nordic benches can also be fitted with the accessory cupboard and drawer kit (0042) and the optional Holdfast (ST03), supplied as a pair, which can be located in any of the dog holes on worktop or in the holes on the front legs of the bench. Worktop area: 1340 x 500mm.

Constructed with hand selected slow grown European beech, this bench is built to last a lifetime of normal use, and comes with a 10 year warranty from Sjobergs of Sweden. Beech not only looks good but has has a greater resistance to damage. The sturdy beech under frame has an ultra sturdy H frame design to prevent any rocking in use. The work top is oil finished for easy redressing.
Both vices can be mounted on the front for heavy-duty clamping or one at either end for clamping in two positions and maximum clamping distance. The Duo bench is equally suited to right or left-handed working. There are four mounting locations for the vices allowing you to configure the bench to best suit your work.

Sjobergs Elite 2000 Cabinetmaker's Bench

Sjobergs Elite cabinetmaker benches are designed and built by experienced Swedish craftsmen. Constructed in European beech; the top is 85mm thick with a 110mm apron, ready treated with a premium quality enriching finishing oil. The specially developed vices provide enormous clamping power across their 600mm (23.1/2") width, as well as providing amazing clamping speed, accuracy and smoothness. Suitable for right or left handed persons, in less than two minutes, the front vice can be fitted on either side. A double row of 25mm (1") round dogs work from both vices and across the full worktop area of 1805 x 600mm. (Overall bench dimensions 1945 x 740mm). The vices have an opening capacity of 145mm (5.3/4"). Supplied with top, trestle and four unbreakable round steel bench dogs which can also be used in the trestle legs.
